Welcome to the digital portfolio of Jacob Coon, Music Educator.
Mr. Coon is the Percussion Specialist at Jones Middle School and Rock Hill High School in Prosper ISD, Texas. Previously, Mr. Coon held percussion director positions at Jersey Village HS, Houston, Hamilton Southeastern High School, Indianapolis, and Minooka High School, Chicago-land, Illinois.
Prior to entering full-time academic instruction, Jacob invested time in studying live audio and studio recording. This application of hardware and software is now standard in the marching arts and music technology.
Mr. Coon maintains a private lesson studio and his students can be found in all walks of life, including professional education and musical performance gigs.
